Bags and chains

Peace.waist-beed

I wear a belly chain. And I have worn one for the last 22 years. When I would try to wear one younger, my mother told me I wasn’t old enough for it.

Belly chains have a plethora of meanings. They are usually and mostly worn by females. You don’t usually see straight men in North America Sporting a belly chain. So that already makes it a feminine thing. I see a lot of women in 70’s porn wearing belly chains. That makes it sexually endearing. And the chains themselves are usually gold or silver and that makes them pricey. A grown woman is going to have a waist starting in the low 30”s and up. So just from the mundane observances, we have women, sex and money attributed to the belly chain.

Another things that happens at a female’s midsection include growing babies. So many see belly chains as a fertility device. That makes sense when you mix sex in there.

As I previously stated, I have been wearing belly chains for decades, but I find they are useful for other things. They are useful for holding nature sacks. A nature Sack is a mojo or gris gris bag held to a woman’s body. Some folks wear them around the neck, ticked in a bra, etc. I have a belly chain… well it’s not really a chain. It’s more of a rope with a clasp. But it’s a nice looking one. I made it myself. Yes Hoodoos excel in craftiness… I can hang bags off my waist and no one thinks a thing about it. I don’t look out of the ordinary. Again working in plain sight. And if someone asks for one…. Great! More gold for me!

Peace,
