Safe Travel

Peace!

I know it’s been awhile since I posted. I don’t feel really bad. It’s not like I have a ton of followers. And I have been going through a lot personally, with school and work. Though I’m mentally disconnecting with my job so that’s no longer a problem, but disconnecting with my family is not an option. And since I am not a religious person, there is no comfort to be found in spooked out sources. Also, my age is catching up with me. I assumed if I kept fit and ate well I would stave off all the middle aged problems that folks have. I was wrong. Aging happens to those who continue to live. I just have to deal with it.

My travel Hoodoo included (1)Safe Travel Oil, (2)7-Day candle (preferably yellow, but I had to use white-multipurpose) and the (3)Motorist Prayer (which I found useful since I was driving)

“Motorist Prayer…”

Grant me O Lord a steady hand and watchful eye.
That no one shall be hurt as I pass by.
Thou gavest life, I pray no act of mine
May take away or mar that gift of Thine.
Shelter those, dear Lord, who bear me company,
From the evils of fire and all calamity.
Teach me to use my car for others need;
Nor miss through love of undue speed
The beauty of the world; that thus I may
With joy and courtesy go on my way.
St. Christopher, holy patron of travelers,
Protect me and lead me safely to my destiny.

I don’t do the mystery god thing, I adjusted the wording to reflect that.

For the ST oil recipe I used was equal amounts of mint and comfrey infused in olive oil. Comfrey is specifically used in protective magic for the traveler and to protect against theft. Try placing a comfrey leaf in your luggage to make sure it isn’t lost or stolen. Use comfrey root in sachets for protection while traveling. Also use it in sachets to protect vehicles. Hang from your rearview mirror or hide it under a seat. And mint is anti-jinxing and protective. Plus I like to have more than 1 herb in an oil if possible. That’s me. I prefer at least 3.

I mixed the oil, addressed and anointed my dashboard and a 7 day candle which you should really keep in the fridge so they last the entire 7 days. I mixed the oils while reciting the 23rd Psalm. It’s a protection Psalm. I read the adjusted version of the Motorist Prayer over the mix. I also read it again while I anointed my dashboard. It was raining and snowing most of the trip and I didn’t want to anoint the outside of my car. I’m keeping the remainder of the oil in my car so it can bond with my vehicle.  I wanted a yellow candle because I was traveling east and because yellow has a travel correspondence. BUT…. The store had no yellow 7 day candles so I got a white one. I really need to find a new botanica that has parking. I’m putting that in the atmosphere… The candle is still burning and I lit it 5 days ago. I went and came successfully. Though the trip was fraught with drama and bad weather.

I am clear on what I’m good at conjurewise…. Healing, protection, divination, uncrossing, binding an some of the darker arts. All else is very questionable. And I’m not mad at that. I’m not a super woman. I did some court work that sooooo didn’t work. This travel work was protective so that’s why I feel it was successful. In the future, I will stock up on yellow candles since I do travel a lot.

Peace
